A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Simon Lowe, Founder of SStudio, is a furniture designer and maker who prides himself in both the precision and technique of his woodworking, and the creativity and problem solving of his design.
Having worked in both London and the Caribbean, Simon now has a specialist workshop near Falmouth in Antigua where he creates bespoke furniture that is both highly functional and aesthetically beautiful to a level not previously available locally.
Simon’s expert use of 3D modelling software allows clients to get an extremely clear view of what their pieces will look like and enables any changes to be easily incorporated. Having worked as a shipwright on some of the world's most famous yachts and lived for many years in Antigua, Simon has a deep understanding of the marine and tropical environment which means his pieces are uniquely tailored to the region’s villas and yachts.
